his unique volume contains an akathist of an unknown author, discovered among the papers of the holy elder Venerable Confessor Sebastian of Karaganda (+1966). The saint both read the akathist himself and blessed his spiritual children to read it. It was published by the Moscow podvorie of St. Sergius- Trinity Lavra in 2000, the year that the elder was canonized. It is here translated for the first time into English by Fr John Mikitish.

The second half of this little volume is a canon, newly composed, in honor of the dread second coming of our Lord and God, Jesus Christ.
