Glory to God is a board book with lines from the Akathist of Thanksgiving, "Glory to God for all things," that even littlest ones will love. Illustrated with original watercolor paintings, every page is a hymn of praise to the Creator of all and a reminder to give thanks to God for all the beauty He has given us.
The manuscript of the akathist comes to us from Archpriest Grigoriy Petrov, imprisoned in a Soviet labor camp. It was found among his personal effects after his death in the gulag around 1942. However, it was originally written by Metropolitan Tryphon shortly before his death in 1934 at the height of the Soviet persecution.
